Robert “Bob” Allen Young, 88, of Citrus Springs, FL, died on Thursday, June 9, 2022, in Decatur.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Young was born May 22, 1934, on a farm near Hillsboro. He married Shirley Young, and she preceded him in death in December 2020.
He attended Hillsboro High School.
Mr. Young and his wife moved to Decatur in 1955 and both worked at Caterpillar for 30 years. After retirement, they moved to Citrus Springs, FL, in 2004.
They were both members of Southside Country Club for many years. Following their move, they became members of Twisted Oak Golf Club in Beverly Hills, FL.
Mr. Young is survived by his children, Brian Young of Greenfield, IN, and Michele Bafford of Decatur; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
