Richard Eugene Hilbert, 59, of Riverton, died Thursday, March 11, 2021, at 12:54 p.m. at his home.
Cremation was provided by Lincoln Land Cremation Society in Springfield.
Mr. Hilbert was born March 27, 1961, in Springfield, the son of Charles Lee and Betty (Shearburn) Hilbert, Sr.
He was employed at Carter’s Fish Market, and was a member of the Riverton River Bottoms. He enjoyed spending time with is friends and playing Bingo.
He is survived by his son, Joshua Hilbert of Illiopolis; two grandchildren; sisters, Sue (Gary) Fultz and Sharon (Bill) Sullivan, both of Farmersville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Breanna Hilbert; and brothers, Charles Hilbert, Jr. and Kenneth Edward Hilbert.
