Phillip Dean Owens, 62, of Litchfield, died Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at 7:22 a.m. at his home.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 11, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Greg Nimmo officiating. Burial will be held in Asbury Cemetery in Raymond. Due to CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks will be required.

Mr. Owens was born April 20, 1958, in Hillsboro, a son of Charles and Margaret (Siddens) Owens. He married the former Melissa “Missy” Kae McCarty on May 2, 2009, at their home in Litchfield, and she survives.

He was a 1976 graduate of Lincolnwood High School. Since 1989, he worked as a professional chemical applicator at M&M Service Co. He enjoyed his job and working in the fields. He enjoyed shooting guns, riding his motorcycle, spending time at Mark Twain Lake, Florida vacations and going on float trips. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Kyle Owens (fiance Kimberly Smalley) of Raymond; two daughters, Ashley Page (fiance Adam Hassebrock) of Lake Kaho–Mt. Olive and Tiffany (Jason) Robinson of Raymond; ten grandchildren, Caydn Page, Avery Hassebrock, Aubrey Hassebrock, Landen Hassebrock, Dominic Robinson, Zoey Robinson, Charlotte Robinson, Rylan Davis, Colton Owens and Coraleigh Owens; one niece, Abby Owens (fiance Kooper Nimmo); and one nephew, Adam (Kayla) Pennock.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Clayton Owens and one brother, Doug Owens.

Memorials my be made to the Montgomery County Cancer Association.
