Peggy Joan Ullman, 95, of Hillsboro, died on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, at 4:44 a.m. at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 10, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. John Jaffry, pastor of Ware’s Grove Lutheran Church in Butler, officiating. Burial will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery in Hillsboro.
Mrs. Ullman was born June 11, 1927, in Hillsboro, to George “Dick” David and Helen Ann (Carter) Sidwell. She married Emerald Ullman on Nov. 29, 1953, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, and he survives.
She was a housewife and lifelong Hillsboro resident.
Mrs. Ullman was a member of Ware’s Grove Lutheran Church in Butler. She loved babysitting, bowling with her team, playing Bingo, going to the boat to gamble, camping and traveling.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Shelley Traylor of Cantrall.
Mrs. Ullman was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Billy Wallace Sidwell and Mary Jacqueline Koontz.
