Paul Anthony Crouch, 77, of Greenville, died on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020, at 3:40 p.m. at HSHS Holy Family Hospital in Greenville.

Arrangements are pending at Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville.

Mr. Crouch was born on Feb. 8, 1943, in Portsmouth, VA, to Thomas W. and Ruth (Hopkins) Crouch. He married Margaret Monnie Riggs on Aug. 26, 1961, and she survives.

He was raised in Reno, where he attended the public schools and grew into adulthood.

Mr. Crouch worked for Nobby Schmidt as a mechanic, then worked at Don Putnam Ford in Hillsboro for 41 years before his retirement. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Crouch is survived by his five children, Ruth Ann (Marvin) Heather of Pittsburg, Vicky Sue Goodwin, Bonnie Jean Crouch and Tracy Lynn Crouch, all of Greenville, and Paul Crouch of Plainfield; seven grandchildren, Samantha Lynn Crouch, Jamie Williams, Brandy (Aaron) Jarrell, Bobbie (Heather) Matheny, Courtney (James) Majerus, Derek Spradling and Lucas (Marie) Etecheson; ten great-grandchildren, Jimmie, Zoe, Brynee, Alora, Robbie, Tessa, Jake, Dominick, Daniel and William; four brothers, Mitchell (Carolyn) Crouch of Greenville, Larry (Karen) Crouch of Bloomington, John Crouch of Kentucky and Alvin Crouch of Vandalia; and sister-in-law, Sandy Crouch of Greenville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; oldest brother, Thomas William Crouch; and grandson, Thomas William Crouch.
