Patricia “Patti” Ann Taylor, 68, of St. Peter, died Monday, June 28, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Pagel Funeral Homes in St. Peter. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 2, at 11 a.m. with a one-hour viewing prior to the service. The Rev. Ryan Meyer will officiate.

Mrs. Taylor was born March 11, 1953, in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Clifford and Addie Mae (Stepp) Smith. She married John Taylor on Dec. 21, 1974, in Godfrey, and he survives.

A member of the Ladies Auxiliary Unit 380, she was a member of the square dance club in Farina. She was a HAM radio operator for several years. She enjoyed being the copilot for her husband, as well as crocheting, singing, and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her mother, Addie Mae Smith of Mountain View, MO, and her husband, she is survived by her sons, Joshua (wife Banji) Taylor of Pontotoc, MI, Shane (wife Kelly) Taylor of St. Peter, J.P. (wife Beth) Taylor of Headland, AL, Simon Taylor of Portland, OR, Pete (wife Laura) Taylor of Douglas, WY, and Gabriel Taylor of Houston, TX; a brother, Clifton (wife Kristy) Smith of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Harlee, Addie-Grayce, Rylee, Aaralyn, Colborn, Delenee, John Brogan, Emerson, Remington, John Cruse, Philip, Lorelai, Julia and Zuriel.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, George and Mary Taylor; nephew, James A. Taylor; and niece, Cari Benko.

Memorials may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church general fund or the donor’s choice.
