Patricia Jeane Davis, 92, of Cookeville, TN, died on Thursday, July 23, 2020, in Cookeville, TN.
Funeral services will be conducted at a later date. Crestview Funeral Home in Cookeville, TN, is assisting the family.
Mrs. Davis was born April 18, 1928, in Litchfield, the youngest of four daughters of Neal and Gertrude Weller. She married Richard Allan Davis on Sept. 3, 1948, in Litchfield, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 2012.
She attended Litchfield High School, where she met her husband. They settled in North Carolina while her husband finished his service in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Mrs. Davis was a talented interior designer who loved crossword puzzles, chocolate milkshakes, tomato burgers, a good mystery book, red lipstick, Chanel No. 5 and bad boys. She also loved animals of all kind, except snakes and lizards, and every bird, squirrel, rabbit and groundhog who graced her yard always had a unique moniker.
She is survived by her children, Michael Davis, Leslie Davis and Jill Gilmore; son-in-law, Tim Gilmore; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Brady, Anne Hefel, Erin Smith, Grant Gilmore and Jackson Davis; and two great-grandchildren, James Hefel and Julia Hefel.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Kalaher, Elizabeth Weller and Fern Voyles.
