Norma Ruth (Broaddus) Jones, 88, of Phoenix, AZ, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, surrounded by family.
She was born to Jesse and Francelia Broaddus and raised in Raymond, where she met and married her beloved husband, Donald White Jones. They had one daughter and two sons together. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Jones and her family traveled the globe together as a result of her husband’s Air Force career. They retired in Phoenix, AZ, in 1984.
She was a beloved wife, sister and mother with a pure and sweet spirit.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Larry) Ludwig; two sons, Donald (Jean) Jones and Thomas (Monica) Jones; sister, Linda (Marvin) Waldeck of Farmersville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and five of her siblings.
