Nokomis Basketball To Host Shooting Clinic

With junior high girls basketball already in full swing and boys basketball and high school hoops coming up quickly, Nokomis High School will be hosting a shooting clinic on Saturday, Oct. 16, to help players sharpen their skills.

Abingdon-Avon high school girls basketball coach Brent Dugan will be bringing his DNA (Developing New Athletes) Shooting Clinic to Redskin Country on Oct. 16, from 1 to 4 p.m., with registration opening at 12:30 p.m. at the new gym. The cost of the camp is $75 per shooter and checks can be made out to Brent Dugan or DNA. Walk-ups are welcome the day of the clinic.

In addition to Dugan’s high school coaching career, he also played and coached at Monmouth College and has been an instructor at the Dick Baumgartner Shooting Camps in Indiana.

The camp is open to all boys and girls basketball players  in fourth through 12th  grades and is open to anyone who would like to attend, regardless of which school district they attend.
