Nancy R. Maroon, 89, of Neoga, formerly of Nokomis, died Monday, June 14, 2021, at Heartland Senior Living in Neoga.
No services will be held. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mrs. Maroon was born Dec. 6, 1931, in Decatur, the daughter of Joseph and Ruth Mary (Cleveland) Tolle. She married Melvin Maroon, Sr. on Feb. 28, 1968, in Greenville, and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2012.
She is survived by her son, Melvin Maroon, Jr. of Mattoon; and four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Crane; a sister, Nellie Bell; and a brother, Jimmie Tolle.
