Nancy J. Huddleston, 65, of Nokomis, died Monday, March 1, 2021, at 4:50 p.m. at Nokomis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 6, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Nokomis Cemetery.
Mrs. Huddleston was born June 6, 1955, in Hillsboro, to Loretta Pauline (McLean) and Alfred Eugene Pearse. She married Terry Huddleston, and they later divorced.
A 1973 graduate of Nokomis High School, she was a certified nursing assistant for many years. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her children, Tammi Andries of Coalton and Adam (Ashley) Huddleston of Nokomis; grandchildren, Ian Andries of Springfield, Hannah Andries of Peoria, and Alyssa Huddleston, Aleigha Huddleston and Adan Huddleston, all of Nokomis; and siblings, Sharon Lindstrom of Oakland, Marilyn Carver, Tricia Currie and Sandy Grigg, all of Witt, Larry (Debbie) Pearse of Nokomis and Gary Pearse of Pana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Settle and brother, Dennis Pearse.
Memorials may be made to the family or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
