Nadine Anne Reynolds, 72, of Nokomis, died on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, at 7:54 a.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Cremation rites will follow. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Reynolds was born Sept. 26, 1950, in Hillsboro, to Harley and Ruth (Colonius) Bowers. She married Gary Reynolds on Oct. 18, 1969, in Witt, and he survives.
She graduated from Nokomis High School with the class of 1968 and was a child care provider for more than 30 years for families in the surrounding area. She previously worked for Walmart in Taylorville for several years.
Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the Baptist Church in Coalton. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going on shopping adventures with her daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed the Christmas season and decorating for the holidays, especially her Christmas village of more than 100 houses. She also enjoyed gardening.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Troy James (Rennie) Reynolds and Alysia Lynn (Patrick Jachino) Reynolds, both of Nokomis; extended family member, Michael (Meg) Meiners; grandchildren, Tara (Ryan) Armstrong, Drake Reynolds, Garret (Grace Saunders) Reynolds and Riley Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Thea, Lorelei and Eleanore Armstrong and Gideon Meiners; and siblings, Nannette (Greg) Stark, Patricia (Phil) Bailey, Denise (Mark) Bailey, Kim (Brian) Hayes, Kevin (Paula) Bowers, Rodney (Donna) Bowers, Stephen Bowers and Jaren (Lisa Deluka) Bowers.
Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her parents; son, Nathan Lee Reynolds; and brother, Lamar Reynolds.
