Monica Mae McAnarney, 68, of Virden, formerly of Farmersville, died on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at her residence.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 12, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Hough Memorial Home in Farmersville. Graveside services will follow, beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Martin’s Catholic Cemetery in Farmersville. CDC guidelines will be followed, including social distancing and masks.
Ms. McAnarney was born Aug. 19, 1952, in Springfield, to Elmer Eugene and Mary Agnes (Clark) McAnarney.
A homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Ms. McAnarney is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Martin) Smith of Maryland and Molly (Mark) Leigh of Virden; son, Dustin (Kelly) Brown of rural Waggoner; grandchildren, Daelyn, Brianna, Kaden, Devin, Logan and Micah; and sisters, Patricia (Ed) Traylor of Waggoner and Mary Katherine “Kate” (Paul) Mclean of Chesterfield, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Howard McAnarney and Barbara Jacobs.
