Michael K. Chumley, 70, of Hillsboro, died on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at his residence.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Mr. Chumley was born on Nov. 22, 1953, in Hillsboro to Jack and Margaret (Goodwin) Chumley. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. He loved his show chickens and bass fishing, as well as auto and motorcycle racing. He was a retired union laborer and a member of Local 1084.
Mr. Chumley is survived by his two granddaughters, Kianna Eaton and Rae-Anna Eaton; great-granddaughters, Jaqueline Eaton, Melania Eaton, Rhiannon Eaton, Aubree Thomas and Alaina Thomas; one sister, Lora Neisler and one brother, Marty Chumley; and three nephews, Chase Wilhelm, Chad Neisler and Dakota Chumley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Theresa Chumley.
