Mary May (Malloy) Lewey-Mansfield, 96, formerly of East Alton and Carlinville, died on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Robings Manor in Brighton.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 6, beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Ray Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Mrs. Lewey-Mansfield was born Oct. 31, 1925, in Coffeen, to Jerome and May (Gaines) Malloy. She married Frederick Lewey, and he preceded her in death on May 4, 1977. She later married Noel Mansfield, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 29, 2014.

Prior to retirement, she worked as a machine operator for Olin Corp. in East Alton.

Mrs. Lewey-Mansfield was a member of Eastern Star in Coffeen and the Westerner Club.

She is survived by her children, Connie Spencer of Wood River, Linda (Chuck) Reed of Shipman and David (Lisa) Lewey of Slidell, LA; stepchildren, Judy Dunn, Wayne (Sondra) Mansfield, both of Carlinville, and Donna (Ray) Harris of Litchfield; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lila Mazzier of Wheaton; and numerous step grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Lewey-Mansfield was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; a sister; and one great-great-grandson.
