Mary K. Wright, 92, of Virden, died Saturday, May 17, 2025.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 22, at the funeral home. There will be a private graveside burial. Davis-Anderson Funeral Homes in Girard is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wright was born March 17, 1933, in Auburn, a daughter of James E. and Mae L. Gates Dixon. She graduated from Auburn High School with the class of 1951. She married William C. Wright on March 27, 1953, in St. Charles, MO.
Mrs. Wright was a loving homemaker, her passion in life was taking care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Wright, Sr.; parents; and brothers, John, Dale, and Jimmy Dixon.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her sons, Bill Wright, Jr. of Irving; Tom (Donna) Wright and Joe Wright of Waggoner; daughters, Susan (Bill) Dalby of Auburn and Sandy (Mel) Dalby of Girard; grandsons, Billy (Nicki Ronda) Dalby of Auburn, Mark (Jill) Wright and their three children of Virden and Jim (Nicole) Wright of Virden; several stepgrandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Copelin of Auburn; several nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Miss Kitty.
