Mary Ann (Janssen) Robinett, 80, of Raymond, died on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, at 3:15 p.m. at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment and graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 19, beginning at 4:30 p.m. at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in Raymond for the immediate family only.
Ms. Robinett was born July 28, 1942, in Rountree Township, to Brunke Dirk “Dick B.” and Mary Londa (Warnsing) Janssen. She married Winston Robinett, Jr. on July 22, 1961, and they later divorced.
She graduated high school and went on to work for the State of Illinois, where she retired from the titles division after more than 35 years of service.
Ms. Robinett was a member of St. Raymond Catholic Church in Raymond. She was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed watching the games. She also enjoyed her genealogy work, scrapbooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Larry (Heather) Robinett of Ferguson, MO, Wendell (Tammy) Robinett of Orange Park, FL, and Cindy (Chuck) Sale of Raymond; grandchildren, Tyler (Sarah) Robinett, Mallory (Zach) Kershaw, Marissa Robinett, Ashley Robinett, Kelsey (Casey) Rosenthal, Haley Hough, Benjamin Robinett, Claire Robinett and Zachary Sale; three stepgrandchildren, Amber Pruitt, Jessica (William) Watts and Daniel-Chase Pruitt; great-grandchildren, Easton Kershaw, Noah Robinett, Finn Robinett, Henry Robinett and Bentley Rosenthal; and sisters, Martha Kay Reed of Nokomis and Margery Fay Al-Adobi of St. Louis, MO.
Ms. Robinett was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Katherine Jean (Robinett) Williams; brother, Paul Eugene Janssen; and sister, Meta Rose (Janssen) Brookshire.
