Mark Edward Titsworth, 64, of Omaha, NE, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at home surrounded by his loved ones following a brief battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Funeral Home in Omaha on Sept 14th. Burial will be at Omaha National Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Titsworth was born Aug. 9,1960, in Litchfield to the late Donald and Grace (Jackson) Titsworth, the fifth of seven siblings. He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1978. He joined the Air Force following graduation. Later he moved to Nebraska where he worked as a painter until retirement. He married Lisa Wiles from Weeping Water, NE, on June 22,1990, and she survives in Omaha.
Mr. Titsworth volunteered tirelessly in Omaha with AA in working with people with alcohol and drug addictions. Many people credit him with helping them maintain their sobriety.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by siblings, Donna (late Roger) Sharp of Litchfield, Jeanie (Steve) Schmidt of Butler, Dan (Ruth) Titsworth of King George, VA, David (late Lisa) Titsworth of Hillsboro, Randy ( Pam Rhodes)Titsworth of Divernon and Clay (Kelly) Titsworth of Litchfield, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
