Marjorie Sue “Susie” Boston, 75, of Irving, died on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, at 1:50 a.m. at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hillsboro Free Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 12 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Randy Sands officiating. Burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.
Mrs. Boston was born March 30, 1947, to Joseph and Dorothy (Kieslar) Zupanci. She married Paul Robert Kelly, and she preceded her in death in 1990. She later married Joe Boston, and he survives.
She graduated from Hillsboro High School.
When living in Minnesota, Mrs. Boston served as a school bus driver and worked in a bakery. She later worked in the cafeteria at Beckemeyer Elementary School in Hillsboro, where she retired.
She was a member of Hillsboro Free Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Boston is survived by her children, Wendy (husband Alan) Kelly Moore of Macon, Brian James (wife Cheryl) Kelly of Florida, Joe (wife Leslie) Boston II of Hillsboro and Paula (husband Dan) Blain of Iowa; grandchildren, Sarah Smysor Brown, Skylar Smysor, Kaylee Kelly, Brock Boston, Zach Boston, Samantha Blain and Cody Blain; and great-grandchildren, Tianna Smysor, Elijah Brown, Mahalea Brown and Maylin Smysor.
In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by her daughers, Julie Green and Lisa Ann Boston; and brother, Allen Zupanci.
