Marion Carl Dahler, 84, of Nokomis, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021 at Unity Point Proctor Hospital in Peoria.
Visitation will be at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis on Thursday, Dec. 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17.
Mr. Dahler was born May 6, 1937 in Nokomis Township, the son of Harvey and Alvera (Michelmen) Dahler. He married Jeanene Chausse on April 15, 1961 in Springfield.
He was a farmer all of his life until retirement in 2010. He was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis and a member of the Montgomery County Farm Bureau. Mr. Dahler had three special girls in his life. He had his granddaughters Ashlyn and Gracie, and his yorkie sidekick Millie. He would do anything for his girls.
Mr. Dahler is survived by his wife, Jeanene; son Robert (wife Jeanne) Dahler of Nokomis; sister Irene Graden of Hillsoro; and granddaughters Ashlyn of Charleston, and Gracie of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Melvin Dahler and Harley Dahler.
