Louise Forbus, 68, of Fillmore, died on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at her home in rural Fillmore.
Private family services will be held at Liberty Cemetery in Bingham with Pastor Harry Kirk officiating. Miller Funeral Home in Fillmore is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Forbus was born July 19, 1953, in St. Louis, MO, to Joseph Parnell and Eula Mae (Langley) Stephens-Haslett. She married Gary Lee Forbus on Oct. 21, 1968, in Missouri, and he survives.
A homemaker, she loved to make quilts for her family, paint, play video poker/games and draw. She also loved Chinese food and anything Sci-Fi.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Forbus is survived by her children, Melanie Banal of St. Jacob, Stephanie Forbus, Aaron Forbus, both of Bingham, Seth Forbus, Libby Forbus, both of Fillmore, and Amy Forbus of Ramsey; mother of St. Elmo; brother, Arthur (Malia) Stephens of St. Elmo; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; and brother, Tom Stephens.
