Litchfield Merchants Plan Christmas Event

Posted

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Litchfield, and merchants are hosting a special Small Business Saturday event, “A Quarantined Christmas” this Saturday, Nov. 28, at a variety of local businesses.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, participants are encouraged to wear masks and maintain social distancing guidelines throughout the event.

Downtown businesses will be hosting their annual Holiday Walk from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with specials in each store. Many merchants are also hosting special drawings and giveaways throughout the day.

The Lemonade Factory, a local food truck, will be set up outside The Briar Rose providing fare for hungry shoppers.

And there’s even a chance for youngsters to catch a glimpse of Santa Claus. He will be making the trip from the North Pole to Litchfield, and he will be stationed in the front window at Cisler and Associates Real Estate. In keeping everyone safe, kids will be able to stand outside the window and take photos with Santa.
