Linda Kay (Hall) Link, age 79 of Greenville, died on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese.
Graveside funeral services were held on Saturday, Oct. 2, at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Donnell - Wiegand Funeral Home of Greenville assisted the family with arrangements.
Ms. Link was born on March 29, 1942, the daughter of Edgar Reed and Rhoda Louise Hall. She grew up in Greenville, where she attended the public schools and Greenville High School. Ms. Link was a stay-at-home mom and a waitress. She liked to read love stories and watch western movies. She worked at Utlaut Memorial Hospital in the kitchen and later Casey’s where she retired.
Ms. Link is survived by three daughters, Denise Huffman of Cornland, Cathy Petroski (fiancé, Ronnie Bingham) of Greenville and Tammy (Darin) Spinner of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Dale (Mandy) Daniken of North Carolina, Kristina Petroski (significant other Carl Mathewson) of Greenville and Nathan Petroski (significant other Madison White) of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Liam, Lilly and Kamden; brother, Carl Hall of O’Fallon; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Edgar Hall, William Hall, Eva Gardner and Kathleen Shoaf.
