Linda Jane Bennett, 74, of Tower Hill, formerly of Litchfield, died at 6:28 a.m., on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
No services are planned at this time. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield assisting the family with arrangements. Mrs. Bennett was born on June 15, 1948, in Litchfield, a daughter of John Bryan and Beulah Juanita (Green) Bowles. She married Bryan Lee Bennett on May 28, 1988, in Mesa, AZ, and he preceded her in death August 19, 2022.
Mrs. Bennett graduated from Litchfield High School. She was a retail clerk for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Mrs. Bennett was a member of Union Avenue Christian Church in Litchfield. She was an avid reader, loved traveling with her husband, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by her sons, John B. (Amy) Brown and Daniel C. (Ferral) Brown; grandchildren, Stacy, Daniel, Laura, Madison, Samantha, Emily, Michael and Gracie; and great-grandchildren, Luca, Caelum, Oliver, Aurora, Maggie and Christopher.
