Leroy Webster, Jr., 75


Leroy “Lee” Webster, Jr., 75, of Springfield, died Saturday, July 4, 2020, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 13, in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. Family Care Cremation of Springfield assisted the family.

Mr. Webster was born March 17, 1945, in St. Louis, MO, a son of Leroy and Marie (Pastrovich) Webster, Sr.

He served in the Air National Guard. For 32 years he ran Taco Gringo in Springfield, which then became Jolly Tamale. A volunteer firefighter in Divernon for many years, he also served on the city board.

Mr. Webster is survived by his wife, Celeste and son, Jason (wife Staci) Webster, both of Springfield; and brother Dan (wife Sabina) Webster of Litchfield.
