Le Roy E. Carney, 63, of Litchfield, died at his residence on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at 5:43 am.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 27, at 1 p.m. at Gillespie Cemetery. Kravanya Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Carney was born March 3, 1955, in Litchfield to Earl Carney and Della Mae (Henry) Carney. He married Laura Mae (Rolland) Carney. He was a retired steel worker.
Mr. Carney enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, riding his motorcycle and being with family. He was a member of the Road Riders for Jesus of St. Charles, MO.
He is survived by his spouse, Laura Carney of Litchfield; children, Robert Conway of Bunker Hill, Brian (Kara) Conway of Bunker Hill, Ted (companion Alicia Housman) Carney of Litchfield and Brandon (Sally) Carney of Benld; grandchildren, Jonathan, Cody, Noel, Theodore Jr., Logan, Annasophia, Gracie and Ashley; brother, “Packy” (companion, April Sebertson) Carney of Lake Kaho; sister, Cheryl (Rick) Fenton of Gillespie and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
