Komor Second At WWTR Race


It was a super Saturday for Rich Komor at the Super Chevy show at Worldwide Technology Raceway in Madison on Saturday, July 18.

Racing in the pro class, Komor was the top qualifier at WWTR on Saturday, posing a 6.936 elapsed time in qualifying. The Litchfield racer nearly led wire-to-wire before falling to the number two qualifier Larry Richards of Bourbon, MO. Richards would run a 7.025 in his 1983 Pontiac Grand Prix, with a .032 reaction time, while Komor ran a quicker 6.950 at 99.34 miles per hour with a .057 reaction time.
