Mr. Hall was born on Oct. 30, 1960, to Lois and John (Jack) Hall. He grew up in Nokomis, a middle child with four siblings. After high school, Mr. Hall attended Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield and completed his education at University of Illinois in Champaign with a master’s degree in agricultural engineering specializing in power and machinery.

At the University of Illinois, he met the love of his life, Patricia “Trish” Doehring. Within a month of graduating, the young couple married and moved to Columbus, IN, where Mr. Hall began his career with Cummins. During his 37 years with Cummins, he approached every position and challenge with positive energy, and worked tirelessly for the good of the company as well as his many coworkers along the way.

Mr. and Mrs. Hall found their church home with Saint Bartholomew Catholic Church where he was an active member and usher for many years. Their three children graduated from St. B’s School where his family had many fun and meaningful experiences.

Gatherings with friends and family were his times most treasured. Mr. Hall’s superpower was connecting with others and making lifelong friends that became family. He was the energy at a party, loved music, games and people. The biggest sufferer of FOMO (fear of missing out), Mr. Hall wanted to be where the fun was and he, himself, was the mastermind of fun. A thoughtful man, he desired to help those in need and be there for his loved ones. Mr. Hall was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and uncle. He will be missed eternally  by those who knew him.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife; children, Chelsea (Cliff) Ortlieb, Rianne (Cody) Craig and Kyler Hall; mother, Lois Hall; brothers, Jim (Nancy) Hall, Tim (Cheryl) Hall and Gerry (Jeanne) Hall; sister, Norby (Larry) Tester; and two grandchildren, Kaycee and Samson Ortlieb.

He was preceded in death by his father, John P. Hall.
