Kenneth Kirk Wineburner, 62, of Hillsboro, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024, at his residence.
Cremation rites will be accorded, per his wishes. Burial will follow at Irving Cemetery at a later date. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wineburner was born April 8, 1962, in Hillsboro, the son of David L. and Martha (Rushford) Wineburner. He enjoyed spending his quiet time doing puzzles, spending time outdoors and taking care of the stray animals in his neighborhood.
Mr. Wineburner is survived by his siblings, Kevin (Cheryl) Wineburner of Wichita, KS, Keith (Lisa) Wineburner of Witt, Kim (Tim) White of Irving, Kelly (Marcia) Wineburner of Irving, Krista Randall of Irving, Anna Lyle of Tennessee, Marsha Moore of Tennessee, Donna (Jim) Wolke of Tennessee and Jackie (Mike) Stolte of Irving.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Wineburner; maternal grandparents, John and Alma Rushford and brother Randy Katzmarek.
