Karen S. Pollard, 66, of Hillsboro, died on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, at her home.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time.
Mrs. Pollard was born on Oct. 9, 1954, in Michigan, the daughter of Cora and Jasper Norris. She married Oleander “Ollie” Pollard in 1976, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her brother, David Norris of Garden City, MI; three children, Jason Pollard of Hillsboro, Michelle (husband Sean) Wilson of Hillsboro, and Jennifer Siler of Middlesboro KY; ten grandchildren, Ashlee Miller, Zachary Miller, Brian Baker, Reagan Siler, PJ Cook, Noah Pollard, Liam Wilson, Preston Wilson, Gunner Cook and Coralai Wilson; three great-grandchildren, Carson Smith, Carter North and Camryn North and nephews Davey (wife Jenny) Norris and Kevin Norris.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Shackelford, and dearest sister-in-law, Judith Norris.
