Karen Jean Hildebrand, 75, of Gillespie, died at 12:10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon, on Thursday, Dec. 23, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Funeral services will start at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Moore Cemetery in Carlinville. Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Hildebrand was born Dec. 24, 1945, in Litchfield, to Charles Suhling and Edith (Hammann) Suhling. She married David W. Hildebrand on June 6, 1965, in Gillespie. Mrs. Hildebrand was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Home Extension.
Mrs. Hildebrand is survived by her spouse; children, Sally (John) Rauzi of Carlinville and Tracey (Ahmed) Hildebrand-Helmy of Palm Desert, CA; grandchildren, Seth, Zachary and Casey and Aladin; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Sandra (James) Johnson of Carlinville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Clara Eichen.
