Julie A. Huber, 59, of Hillsboro, died on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 5, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Rena Bell and Andy Avery co-officiating. Burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Mrs. Huber was born March 7, 1962, in Hillsboro, to John “Arthur” and Verna (Cole) Eller. She married Bernard “Bernie” J. Huber on May 22, 1996, and he survives.

She attended Nokomis schools and earned her associate’s degree in nursing at Lincoln Land Community College.

Mrs. Huber attended Nokomis Pentecostal Church and Grace Fellowship Church in Fillmore. She loved to go to yard sales, play Bingo and sew.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jason (wife Mary) McCaslin of Brownstown, Jaymi (companion Steve Richardson) Taylor of Donnellson, Trina McCaslin, James McCaslin, both of Nokomis, Tyler (wife Cheyenne) Huber and Tami (companion Joe Archibald) Huber, both of Hillsboro; stepdaughters, Crystal (companion Lee Coke) Winans and Melissa (companion Paul Bartle) Vaughn, both of Witt; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Jim (wife Patty) Eller of Flora; and friends, Jim and Lisa Miller.

Mrs. Huber was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tom Eller; and one great-grandchild.
