Joseph Francis Wayne Curto, 39, of Litchfield, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton.

Visitation will be on Monday, Nov. 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Living Stones Church in Litchfield. Memorial services will begin immediately after visitation at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Nathan Diveley of Southside Church officiating. A time of fellowship will follow the services. The family asks that all wear  their favorite St. Louis Cardinals attire, or something red in memory of Joseph.

Plummer Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Curto was born Oct. 15, 1982, in Hillsboro, the son of Carl Wayne and Debra May (Clutter) Curto. He was a graduate of Litchfield High School and worked as a general laborer, doing deliveries, moving furniture, packaging and mowing grass. He also enjoyed working on cars and trucks. Mr. Curto was a member of Southside Church, loved to fish, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.

He is survived by his parents, Carl and Debra Curto of Litchfield; sons Weston, Christopher , James and Gabe Curto; sister Gala (husband Mike) Kierbach of Mt. Olive; nieces Jordin and Tori Kierbach; aunts Carol Curto of Litchfield, Tonya Sheddan of Pana, Sandy (husband Mike) Russell of Springfield, Betty Jacobs of Thompsonville, and Carolyn Roberts of Moorehaven, FL; and uncles Leo Hicks of Litchfield, Lou Burrus of Pana, and John Roberts of Thompsonville.

Mr. Curto was preceded in death by his grandparents Wayne and Gracia Curto and Francis and Patsy Roberts; aunt Chris Hicks; uncle Greg Burrus; and Andrew Clutter, Jr.
