Jhak Wins, Jhadyn Makes Pro A Debut As Walkers Hit Midwest X Country Series Finale

A delay pushed back the Midwest X Country (MXC) Series finale to Sunday, Nov. 22, which meant that Jhadyn and Jhak Walker of Morrisonville were able to get one more ride in at the course in Prophetstown, located three hours northwest, not far from the Quad Cities.

The trip would be worthwhile for the brothers as Jhak picked up a win and Jhadyn scored a top ten in a new division.

Running in the Open B class, Jhak took first, beating out 15 other riders  for the top spot. Older brother Jhadyn would have his hands full in his Pro A debut, going up against some of the best riders in the area. He’d hold his own, though, finishing sixth overall in the 11-rider field.

In addition to the Walker brothers, Lake Plowman of Waverly, a friend and riding partner of the family, finished first in the Open A class.
