Jennifer Louise (Lively) Gaffney passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
Born to Boyd and Phyllis Lively of Litchfield, Jennifer brought joy and music into every room she entered. She was a lifelong lover of music, an artist and the undeniable life of every party. Jennifer was a rockstar on the drums and would always sit in with bands when the opportunity arose. Her love for Halloween was legendary; year after year, she claimed the title of Halloween costume champion, delighting all with her creativity and spirit.
Jennifer’s greatest pride was her family and friends. She is survived by her two sons, Mike Gaffney (his wife, Kacie, and her two grandsons, Graham and George) and Adam Gaffney. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings: John (Phyllis) Lively, Kelly (Rob) Streitmatter, Kim (Brett) Stamps, Tami Mix, Valerie (Joe) Kolesar, Shane (Jill) Lively and countless nieces and nephews.
She will be rememebered for her bold spirit, her booming laughter, her fierce love for those around her and her ability to turn any moment into a celebration. Jennifer lived loudly, loved deeply and left a rhythm in the hearts of all who knew her.
She now joins her parents, Boyd and Phyllis, in rest–– but her beat lives on.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21, at 2 p.m. at the Litchfield Moose Lodge, located at 221 N. Madison St. in Litchfield.
