Jeffrey Scott Bertolis, 52, of Gillespie, died on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at his residence.
Friends may call on Thursday, May 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Gillespie Cemetery. Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Bertolis was born on July 31, 1969, in Litchfield, to Mike A. Bertolis and Donna J. (Campbell) Bertolis. He was a foreman for Tubular Steel after having worked there for 26 years before they closed. Mr. Bertolis enjoyed bird hunting, Mopar cars and working in the yard, but what he enjoyed and loved the most was watching his son play sports.
Mr. Bertolis is survived by his parents, Mike and Donna Bertolis of Gillespie; son, Trenton Bertolis of Wilsonville; siblings, Mike D. Bertolis of Mt.Olive, Kevin J. (Misty) Bertolis of Gillespie and Julie Yudinsky of Carlinville; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and special brothers, TimothyBlevins and Palmer Blevins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Tammara Bertolis; and grandparents, Duncan and Betty Campbell.
