Jeffrey “The General” Brian Miller, 63, of Fillmore, died on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Hillsboro Area Hospital.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fillmore Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 28, beginning at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mike Plummer officiating. Interment will follow at Bost Hill Cemetery. Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family.
Mr. Miller was born Sept. 25, 1959, in Litchfield, to Leonard and Melba (Haines) Miller. He married Brenda Wayne on June 4, 1982, in Fillmore, and she survives.
He was a co-owner and operator of Millers Lime Service in Fillmore, and was an active member of Fillmore Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and making wooden trucks and tractors. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Miller is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Koski of Fillmore and Julie (Bobby) Collman of Ramsey; grandchildren, Samuel Collman, Brilea Koski and Addilyn Collman; mother of Taylor Springs; siblings, Everett (Kay) Miller of Coffeen, Leona Miller of Macon, Debbie (Mike) Jackson and Gary (Joyce) Miller, both of Fillmore, Cindy Miller of Sandoval, Sue (Wayne) Jackson of Vandalia and Paula (Tony) Fullerton of Westervilt; mother-in-law, Virginia Wayne of Fillmore; and brother-in-law, Raymond (Gena) Wayne of Neoga.
He was preceded in death by his father; father-in-law, Samuel Wayne; and brother-in-law, Perry Wayne.
