For many years, I have driven past Animal Control on my way to the Senior Center.
Over a year ago, I noticed many little white puppies there. I stopped in and asked whether they were adoptable. I was told no, that they were involved in a court case.
Over the past year, I have stopped in several times to inquire about them and was always told the same.
A few weeks ago I stopped again. These dogs, Great Pyranees–no longer puppies–are still not available for adoption. They have spent nearly their entire lives in kennels. This is cruel.
I was not allowed to take a picture of the puppies but was told that they can be fostered.
I hope the people in the court case have not forgotten about these very friendly, beautiful dogs.
