After going 5-0 in the Prairie State Conference this season, the Nokomis Lady Redskins put two players on this year's 10-player PSC All-Conference team.

Junior Emma Hill and sophomore Addison Dangbar were part of a strong core of young Redskins who finished the season with a 9-11 record.

Hill was the everyday catcher for Nokomis and made just two errors in 87 chances for a .977 fielding percentage. She would also show off some arm strength, throwing out eight runners attempting to steal.

At the plate, Hill batted .489, picking up 23 hits in 55 at-bats, including three doubles. She would finish tied for fifth in RBIs with 11 and also had four runs scored.

Dangbar would have a breakout year at the plate for Nokomis, batting .511, second on the team to Aubrey Jaros' .516 average. Of her 24 hits, seven would be doubles, one would be a triple and two would be home runs, second only to Reaghan Jonas' three. Dangbar also led the team in runs scored with 27 and was third in RBIs with 17.

In the outfield, Dangbar had two errors in 17 chances with 14 putouts and one assist.

The only team to have more players on this year's all-conference list was Bunker Hill, who had three selections. Junior Briann Heflin, sophomore Olivia Gresham and freshman Ruth Gibson represented the Minutemaids, who were second in the conference at 3-1.

East Alton-Wood River would be third at 3-3, with senior Taylor Murray and junior Madilyn Fry representing the Oilers on the all-conference team, while Metro-East Lutheran was fourth at 2-5, with freshman Emilie Quandt and sophomore Sarah Huber selected to the all-conference list as well.

Rounding out the conference was Father McGivney, who went 0-4 and had one selection, sophomore Alexis Bond.
