Infant Grace Nicole Goodwin was born silent on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Greenville. Assalley-Young Funeral Home in Greenville is assisting the family.
She was the treasured daughter of Jade Nicole (Koertge) and Walker Lane Goodwin. During her short time here on earth, she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Her life was a brief gift.
Grace is survived by her parents of Mulberry Grove; maternal grandparents, Devin and Sherri Koertge of Mulberry Grove; paternal grandfather, Scott (Lisa) Goodwin of Newton; paternal grandmother, Lisa Goodwin of Hartsville, TN; maternal great-grandparents, Ron and Betty Hartmann and David and Vickie Koertge, all of Mulberry Grove; paternal great-grandfather, Gary Goodwin of Newton; and aunts, Trista Koertge of Mulberry Grove and McCrae Goodwin and Chesney Goodwin, both of Hartsville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandmother, Caroline Sue Walker.
