Gerald C. Stark, 71, of Edinburg, died August 25, 2021 at Decatur Memorial in Decatur.

Mr. Stark was born on July 27, 1950, in Springfield to Gerald C. and Mary Francis Baldwin Stark Sr. He was a police officer for over 35 years. His service included patrolman in Hillsboro and Springfield, Chief of Divernon, Chief of Coffeen, and most recently Chief of Springfield Park District before he retired.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and he served as past President of the Blue Knights MC Chapter 21.
He was preceded in death by Mary Stark (mother), and Gerald Stark Sr. (Father).
He is survived by his spouse Pamela Stark, sons Shawn and Steven Stark both of Springfield, Robert (wife, Mandy) Stark of Belleville, and several grandchildren including A.J. Stark. He is also survived by his siblings Carolyn (husband, Jim Mills) of Edinburg, Harry Stark of Edinburg and Robert (wife Theresa) Stark of Springfield.
