George Mason Bouillon, 100, formerly of Litchfield, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at 9:08 a.m.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bouillon was born June 30, 1921. He married Eve Serafini Fox and they were married 72 years. She preceded him in death on Sept. 25, 2013.

Mr. Bouillon was a first sergeant in the Red Arrow Division of the U.S. Army in the Pacific theater in WW II. He returned home to Litchfield and became a successful businesman, founding  The George Press. He was a champion bowler, outstanding golfer and a pool shark.

He is survived by his son Mark (wife Angela) Bouillon; daughter Lisa (husband Tom) Uhlenbrock; grandchildren Tyler (wife Yolanda) Uhlenbrock, Hannah (husband Massey) Arnold, Sarah (husband Chaese) Strelz and David Bouillon; and great-grandson Mase Howard Arnold.
