G. Kevin Elliott, 66, died on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Mr. Elliott was born March 3, 1955, in Hillsboro, to John R. and Margaret (Nimmons) Elliott.

While studying radio-television at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, he found his best friend, Kim Shaw, and they married in 1979. Together, they raised their beautiful daughter, Anne.

Mr. Elliott spent a trailblazing career in communications and video production, creating his own production company. He worked for the St. Louis Blues and designed programs for many leading companies in a broad range of industries.

Recognized by a St. Louis Emmy award, he brought his creativity and keen sense of fine design to everything he touched, including woodworking, photography, collecting musical instruments and exotic automobiles.

Mr. Elliott was a superb cook, and he and his wife enjoyed entertaining many dinners throughout the years. His most important job, though, was that of a father, and his proudest accomplishment was always his dear daughter.

He loved his adopted town, Dunedin, FL.

Mr. Elliot is survived by his wife; daughter, Anne (David Franklin) Elliott; devoted brothers, Mike (wife Vicki) Elliott and Tim (wife Aby) Elliott; several nieces and nephews; and his loyal greyhound, Firefly, who stood by his side until the end.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Provident Behavioral Health of St. Louis at www.providentstl.org, Gold Coast Greyhound Adoption or Gulf Coast Chapters at www.gulfcoastgreyhoundadoption.org.
