Frances W. Elwood, 64, of Hillsboro, died on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
No services are planned for Mr. Elwood at this time. Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home of Nokomis is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Elwood was born Jan. 12, 1958, to Harold E. and Della (Petra) in Peoria. He married Mary Cooper on Aug. 29, 2014, in Greenville. Mr. Elwood dearly loved his children and family, and will be missed by all who knew him. His friends and family knew they could count on him to help them whenever needed. His favorite pastime was fishing.
He is survived by his wife; children, Richard (Jamie) Elwood of Taylor Springs, Harold (Jamie) Elwood of Coffeen, Frances Elwood, Jr. of Hillsboro and Brianna Blankenship of Springfield; siblings, Lena Guyot of Florida, Dovie Cutright of Nokomis and Curly (Angie) Petra of Irving; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roger and Evelyn Cooper of Coffeen; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and several nieces.
