Funeral services will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN, with Jimmy Pickett officiating. Memorial visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. before services at the funeral home in Waynesboro.

A man as tough and as nurturing as the ground he walked, eventually setting roots in Clifton, TN, Mr. Lang was born to Fred Lang and Robin (Hancock) Lang on Nov. 4, 1974, in Hillsboro. He spent much of his childhood alongside his grandmother and grandfather, Valeria and Ross Hancock of Hillsboro, from whom he drew much inspiration as to the person he would become; though he learned his patience and humor from Jessie Boyd, the man his mother later married and spent the rest of her life with.

On Nov. 24, 1998, he married Gloria Jean (Tito) Lang, the love of his life. With her by his side, they would go on to raise six children. As his children grew, he found time after his job to develop his passions of watching the wildlife from the back porch and passing the evening with backyard family activities. He worked 14 years for CCA South Central, 12 years for Wayne County Highway Department, and his final, most enjoyable years, driving for Big M Transportation.

In addition to his father and stepfather, he is survived by his six children, Angelo Deltedesco, Michael Lang, Gabriel Lang, Dylan Lang, Chrissie (husband Shawn) Teague, and Jessica Deltedesco; eight grandchildren, Clara Theis, Angelo Deltedesco III, Gavin Teague, Connor Teague, Gamble Teague, Logan Teague, Bentley Deltedesco, Weston Deltedesco, and Lexie Deltedesco; a brother, Josh (wife Brooke) Lang; with many more aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother in 2014.
