Five Wins In Two States For Hillsboro's Saathoff

Posted

Two events in two states resulted in five more wins for Hillsboro flat track motorcycle racer Chase Saathoff on April 17-18, with a little training to go along with the racing on the side.

Saathoff and his race team were at Capital City Speedway in Ashland, VA on April 17, with some practice laps to prepare the day before. The Hillsboro High School freshman would take first in both of his classes, taking the top spot in the Open Amateur and the 450 Amateur classes.

Hoofing it back to the Land of Lincoln, Saathoff competed in three races at the Pekin Motorcycle Club on Sunday, April 18. Again he took first in the Open Amateur and 450 Amateur classes, but in Pekin Saathoff also added a win in the Pro/Am race.

If all the wins weren’t enough, Saathoff also was a guest trainer at the American Supercamp event on April 19, in Springfield.
