Evadine J. Smith, 83, of Fillmore, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at Hillsboro.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 20, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Miller Funeral Home in Fillmore. The funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 11 a.m. Pastor Harry Kirk will officiate. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore.
Mrs. Smith was born August 30, 1938 in Bingham, the daughter of Theodore Clinton and Bessie (Merriman) Davidson. She married Kenneth Eugene (Gene) Smith on June 11, 1960 in Fillmore.
She was a homemaker and served on the Fillmore Township Election Board. She was affiliated with the Christian faith.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Gene; son Brent (wife Krista) Smith of Fillmore; daughters Jeanna (husband Jay) Lorton of Fillmore, and Joy Heldebrant of Witt; sister Norma Black of Vandalia; grandchildren Jamie, Dustin, Kelsey, Mandy, Jade and Jasmine; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Don Smith.
