Ernest E. “Ernie” Frayer, 88, of Alhambra, died Monday, June 23, 2025, at Alhambra Rehab and Health Care.
There are no services or visitations at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland.
Mr. Frayer was born on Saturday, Aug. 22, 1936, in Evergreen, WI, the son of Ernest and Marie (nee West) Frayer. He was an avid coon hunter and loved being outdoors. He was passionate about his over-the-road trucking and drove for more than 40 years.
Mr. Frayer is survived by his son, Allen Frayer of Fillmore and daughter, Lory (Bill) Crabtree of Hartsburg; grandchildren, Travis Frayer of Hillsboro and Austin, Matt and AJ Frayer; great-granchildren, Maeley Frayer and Amira Frayer; brothers, Leon, Oravel, Gene and Nobel Frayer; and sisters, Agnes Andres, Helen Richter and Alyce Frayer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Frayer and Marie (West) Frayer; son, Ernest D. Frayer in August of 2020; brother, Floyd Frayer; and twin brother, Earl Ezra Frayer on Sept. 11, 2015.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
