Eloisa Martinez Alvarado, 74, of Carlinville, died on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023, at 6:55 p.m. at Heritage Health: Therapy and Senior Care in Carlinville.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is assisting the family.
Ms. Alvarado was born Dec. 27, 1948, in Dallas, TX, to Fidel and Lucia (Martinez) Alvarado.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, dancing, crossword puzzles and being with her family.
Ms. Alvarado is survived by her daughter, Leticia (William) Chamberlin of Hillsboro; two brothers, Armando (Bianca) Chavez and Edward Chavez, both of Dallas, TX; five grandchildren, Priscilla (Lorenzo) Gonzalez, Alexa Rodriquez, Jacob Rodriquez, Joseph Montiel and Mario Montiel; two great-grandchildren, Winter Gonzalez and Alani Alaniz; and one sister, Cynthia Alba of Dallas, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Octavio Velazquez.
