Edward Elmer “Ed” Gleich, 75, of Nokomis, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 9:50 a.m. at his home.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 9, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Nokomis.
Mr. Gleich was born Aug. 2, 1945, in Pana, to Genevieve (Eichelroth) and Cletus Gleich. He married Sherri Grace Osborn in 2001, and she survives.
He was a graduate of Nokomis High School. He worked in carpentry, construction and also sold real estate, which was his passion. For many years, he raised and loved his dogs. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Nokomis Sportsmen’s Club and St. Louis Carpenters Local.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepchildren, Craig (Banee’) Ulrici of Fillmore, Heather (Brett) Shehan of Hazelwood, MO, and Crystal (Chris) Cole of Holly Hill, FL; and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to World Vision or Shriners Hospital for Children.
